My two partners and I developed, coded, designed, and launched a global crowdfunding platform. In three years we raised $1.75m for 250+ projects, all over the world. Currently it’s on hiatus business wise but the platform is still running accounts and is fully functional.
We raised $1.75m with out using any advertising. Not even google or facebook ads. Only using word of mouth and minimal social.
With no dedicated pr team, We've received coverage in Fortune Magazine, Forbes, Entrepreneur Mag, and many more publications.

The platform is open to all, promoting women and diversity-led projects. We are different from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, GoFundMe for the following reasons:
Truly global. We accept 139 currencies and Bitcoin, they only accept 5 currencies and no bitcoin.
We promote all of our projects, other platforms only select a few.
Offer flexible crowdfunding timelines. Cash out early if you raise the funds, extend the campaign if you need time.
Offer gamification of the campaigns through upvoting.
Have a non-profit through which we donate 10% of our net-revenue to women and diversity-led projects.
I've developed the branding and the logo. The pages are super busy now and we need to do a design/content overhaul. We developed the site over 3 years with a lean team of 3. We work on the site in the evenings and on the weekends. This is what I've been doing for the last three years, bouncing between LA and NY and living the dream.
